Google Adsense Integration (On all paid plans)
I would like to integrate Google Adsense to show ONE add at the footer of each of my personal blog posts in a way to monetize my traffic to offset my bills. It would be great to have a way to integrate this via the dashboard, to paste the code, and to select where it appears (For example: Display below each post). Currently, when I try to connect my site to Adsense and view example ads, it displays a 500 Internal Server Error.

I am not on the Pro+ Plan at the moment (can’t afford it right now) so I am unable to use custom scripts, hence my request for a Google Adsense specific option available to ALL paid plans. But, even if I could afford Pro+ right now; testing the provided code from Google in the Custom Script section results in an error on the Quotion Dashboard, and when previewing Adsense on Google, it also shows an error.

Hey David, the error means your code isn’t valid, you need to copy the code inside <script> tag, with script tag, it’s html code not javascript code

The Quotion dashboard accepted that code but I’m still getting the 500 Internet server error when trying to set it up in Adsense:

@David Venter what you tried on Quotion dashboard is preview, it means the code isn’t published yet, thus Adsense can’t see it.

That is awesome. Thank you so much. After publishing the code and waiting a day, now checking Google Adsense, in the Adsense Ad settings Preview, it still shows a 500 Internet Server Error on davidventer.net Something is blocking Adsense.
About the free upgrade, I really appreciate it! However, if it’s going to auto-bill me for Pro on renewal, I’d rather not have the upgrade. For context; Pro at $290 annually equals roughly two months of my income in ZAR. I can’t allocate two months of my annual income to hosting a blog. If the free upgrade is going to auto-renew at the Pro price, please revert that.

Thank you so much! I love this platform and the way you handle user queries and support! Hopefully I can figure out how to make the Adsense integration work but I’m also looking at alternatives for monetization. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
